K. Van Petten is an artist based in Seattle, writing from the in-betweens of music and poetry, intimacy and expanse, certainty and possibility. Raised on the country drop-off outside Chicago and shaped by years living on a sailboat as a musician in residence performing daily at a harbor bar, K’s work reaches for what can’t quite be named.
