False Hemlock is a newly seeded band in Seattle and its greenspaces on stolen Coast Salish land, specifically the ancestral land of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, and Muckleshoot People.
False Hemlock is an alt folk band growing in Seattle, Washington, formed by friends K Van Petten, Natt Meek, and Connor Colbert. Their sound is rooted in three-part harmonies, layered strings, poetry, and the belief that music creates a magic balm that helps us balance the pleasures and pains of being human. While working towards their first record, False Hemlock has played sold-out shows at venues like Tractor Tavern and The Rabbit Box, and festivals such as Folklife and Pridefest, all while exploring the intersections of nature and music.
